Guidance: Crest High will conduct an SAT boot camp next week on Monday – Friday afternoons. The boot camp will last each day until 4:30. Cost is $25 which will be refunded if you attend each day. See Lori Roberts in guidance to sign up. Clubs: CSI was the only Cleveland County High School competing Saturday in the regional Science Olympiad in Hickory. Teresa Rocha and Andrew Barrington won a medal for Cell Biology. Along with Tonya Rocha, Katie Gilbert, Dakota Brown and Amanda Williams, the team won the highly contested Spirit Trophy. (1)
Athletics: There is a mandatory meeting for parents and prospective cheerleaders/mascots for the 2010 football cheerleading season on Monday night, March 8th at 6:30 in the Theater.
Other: The Red Cross Blood Drive is Tuesday, March 16th. Eligible students may sign up this week through their second period classes. To be eligible to donate blood, a student must be 17 years old by March 16, have a parent permission form signed and returned, weigh at least 110 pounds, and bring photo ID. You must sign up and return permission forms to room 115 by Friday of this week! Afterthoughts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 9th and 10th.
